From Flabby Abs to Fab Abs

As of today and until Saturday, May 19, 2012 I will change one thing in my diet: no sweets at all. That means not even one slice of cake, not even one Tim Horton’s donut bits. The purpose of going cold turkey with this is to see if by eating no sweets at all the jelly belly will shrink quickly.

From flabby abs to fab abs. The Before is really a picture of me. I did it myself with the help of a webcam.

The Before (May 13, 2012)

The After (hopefully by the end of July 2012). This is me in June 2000. I would like to look like this again. This is at my best.

  1. No sweets at all is great for weight loss. I find that for me, personally, I need to have a day when I allow myself to use at least one sweet treat or not I have teh most horrible cravings. I hope it works for you.

  2. Thanks. I hope it works for me too. That Before pic is really me…I omitted my face because I’m sort of embarrassed about the whole thing with my weight gain.

  3. Sorry…Happy belated Mother’s Day!

  4. Don’t be embarrassed, you are inspiring others! I’m with you on the sweets, I’ve cut them out (had 1 break down so far). Up your fruit intake, it’ll help.

    • Do you think eating watermelons will hurt me? I bought a large watermelon this Friday and finished it yesterday. It’s all water to me. I hope there is no fat in it! To my knowledge there wouldn’t be.
