Total METs h/w this week: 8 out of 10.

  • Sunday, June 10, 2012: 180 minutes brisk walk at 3.5 MET = 1028 calories burned
  • Wednesday, June 13, 2012: 60 minutes cycling at 4 MET = 392 calories burned
  • Thursday, June 14, 2012: 60 minutes cycling at 4 MET = 392 calories burned
  • Friday, June 15, 2012: 180 minutes brisk walk at 3.5 MET = 1028 calories burned

If you had a look at the previous post, you will see that I did a bit of dancing. I got some sweat out of it. The room was warm and a bit stuffy–I didn’t open the window! Didn’t want the neighbours to hear me having a blast! Some are fussy about noises.

It wasn’t a good idea to eat foods high in sugar this Thursday and Friday, but I did and it was probably why my body hasn’t gotten rid of it yet. Tomorrow: All-Bran Cereal in the morning. That’s enough fibre and hopefully just enough to help the digestive system excrete what needs to go. So, why eat the stuff that I did on Thursday and Friday? I’m an idiot, I celebrated my birthday two days, not one.

Still…I had self-control on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday of this week. Next week, I’ll for sure have six days where I have controlled the amount of fat and sugar I consume.
