Cycling is Benefiting Me!

Today I cycled for a little over an hour and burned 510 calories! I don’t feel guilty, much, now for eating that apple strudel yesterday that was around 700 calories and around 10% fat. I burned some of it off today.

Besides the calories burned, I’m feeling much happier than I did before the workout. I guess you can’t tell looking at these pics that I am happy, but I am!

I won’t be doing aerobics from the DVD today. My running shoes are wet from the rain.

If the weather isn’t bad tomorrow, I will be walking at least 1.5 hours. Let’s see how many calories I burn then! I have been under the impression that the more intense a type of workout is, the more calories are burned, i.e. cycling is more intense than brisk walking.

One more thing I’d like to add and maybe you can direct me to a website that can tell me more about the heart rate for a 42 year old during exercise.
