Weekly Goals: Sunday June 17 to Saturday June 22

This week, the week ending day is Friday. Have some personal stuff to do tomorrow that will take the entire day.

Total METs h/w this week: 436 minutes out of 600 minutes (7.3 METs h/w out of 10 METs h/w)

  • Sunday, June 17: 90 minutes cycling at 4 MET: 588 calories burned
  • Sunday, June 17: 17 minutes brisk walk at 3.5 MET: 97 calories burned
  • Monday, June 18: 69 minutes cycling at 4 MET: 450 calories burned
  • Monday, June 18: 12 minutes brisk walk at 3.5 MET: 69 calories burned
  • Wednesday, June 20: 24 minutes aerobics exercise: 98 calories burned (40 calories burned before the workout – getting ready for the workout)
  • Thursday, June 21: 65 minutes, 510 calories burned.
  • Friday, June 22: 159 minutes brisk walking at 3.5 MET, 1434 calories burned.

Pretty good week. I burned off a lot of calories. Before purchasing the heart rate and calories counter, I just went by METs. But now I think I have met another goal that I didn’t think possible:

  • brisk walking a distance of 4.6 miles for 90 minutes previously is taking me 75 minutes now. That’s progress!
  • having some control over cravings because I’m making a conscious decision about what to eat. The cravings are not so bad now!
One last thing I have to say: I didn’t buy the All Bran Buds. I’ve decided to finish eating All Bran Original first. The Buds are $1.00 extra.
