Monthly Progress: June

See post Fitness and Health Goals From Friday, June 1 to Saturday June 30, 2012.   Total exercise days: 24 out of 30 days

 

  • purchased an exercise mat
  • brisk walked each day for at least one hour: cycled and brisk walked more than a total of seven hours a week!
  • only one sweet per week: after three sessions with the dietitian, the last week of June 2012 I had one sweet: large Café Mocha
  • no more than two servings per week from the break and grains group: dietitian suggested I up the intake of grains to add more fibre to my diet and to improve regularity.

I revised some goals for optimum weight loss and general health. I didn’t stretch the muscles much this month. I am waiting to see what the doctor has to say to me on July 10 about the muscles and nerve issues I have now.

Health Issues

  • tingling on the left arm, no chest pain. Neuropathy–nothing to do with diabetes;
  • pain and tension on my spine;
  • pain from the back of both legs to the heel; and
  • left and right hip pain (mostly left).
