What It Will Take To Reach Both Goals For This Week

By today, I am close to reaching 100% of kcal goals.

2 hours and 49 minutes of brisk walking will do it and the great thing about today, too, was that even though I was thinking about my goals, brisk walking was just what I needed: the sun shone bright and strong today, and it helps me feel way better, happier, than hours before.

To reach all of my exercise goals for this week means that for each day and Saturday, I will be brisk walking for at least 1.5 hours–which I stated previously is what I think is the limit for me now.

Remember? During this summer I was brisk walking towards the waterfront for a total of about 2.5 hours on one day.

1.5 hours should be enough to satisfy my goals of:

  • burning at least 500 kcal/day, 5 days a week
  • lowering my stress level

The latter is really the reason for me to continue brisk walking; however, sometimes I need to change it up and then I’ll have to increase the intensity.
